Installing Batteries in Your Zenja Flashlight

There are two different types of battery holders.  Please follow the instructions that match your holder.

HOLDER 1

1.  Unscrew head (not lens) of flashlight.

2.  Remove battery holder.

3.  Install 3 AAA batteries with negative (-) end of battery toward spring.

4.  Reinsert battery holder into flashlight with plus (+) mark up.

Note: The plus (+) and negative (-) markings on the battery holder are guides to install the holder properly into the flashlight.  The markings have nothing to do with the correct position of the batteries in the holder.  Always put negative (-) end of the battery toward the spring.

HOLDER 2

1.  Unscrew head (not lens) of flashlight.

2.  Remove battery holder.

3.  Install 3 AAA batteries.  Follow marking on top of holder.  Always        load battery with negative (-) end of battery toward spring

4.  Reinsert battery holder into flashlight with the bump on top              facing up.

5.  Arrows on the side of the holder point to the top.

6.  The battery holder must make contact with the spring inside the      flashlight.  The battery holder should "bounce" on the spring.

Note:  Should flashlight fail to work, double check that batteries are inserted firmly into the holder and match the + / - markings on top of holder.

How do I Get the Emergency Strobe Light to Work?

Press the on/off button once for 100% brightness, press it again for 50% brightness, and press it a third time for the emergency strobe beacon.

I want to use the Zoom Lens but only unscrewed the top of the flashlight.

To use the zoom lens slide the head of the flashlight back and forth to change from wide beam to spotlight. Do not twist the head or you will unscrew it from the body of the flashlight.

I broke my Zenja flashlight.  Do you have replacement parts?

We do stock some replacement parts.  Please contact our help desk at support@moderntimesliving.com and we'll do what we can to help you.
